A Masters Research Project on the work of Greek filmmaker Theo Angelopoulos, for Queen Mary, University of London. The documentary focuses on the style, themes and techniques that are explored in the director’s filmography, with a special focus on the use of cinematic time and space. The director’s work is approached from various angles, reflected in the interviews from Geoff Andrew (film critic and Head of the film programme at the BFI Southbank), Angelopoulos’s music composer Eleni Karaindrou (ECM records) and film academics and practitioners, like Marios Psaras (PhD Queen Mary, University of London), Alexis Radisoglou (PhD ICLS Columbia University) and Dr Yannis Skopeteas (University of the Aegean).
