Marilena Parouti is a director/producer based in London. Having completed her MA and BA Film Studies at Queen Mary University of London, is working as an in-house producer for Mile End Films and also as an independent filmmaker. Her filmography includes fiction films, documentaries, music and promotional videos. Among her clients are the British Library, UK Sport, Barts Health NHS Trust, SAGE Publications, Stag Music and Living British Cinema. One of her latest short fiction films, For His Sake (2014), was presented at the Short Film Corner at Cannes Festival and is currently distributed by Gonella Productions. One of her latest documentaries, Brass Band-on-Sea (2014), was presented at the Southend-on-Sea Film Festival 2014 where it opened for the film How We Used to Live (2013).
