Philip Phillis is a PhD Candidate at the University of Glasgow, department of Film, Theatre & Television. His research deals with representations of Albanian immigrants in Greek and European cinema. He holds an MsC in Film Studies from the University of Edinburgh, department of Language, Literature and Culture. He is a graduate of the University of Crete, department of Archaeology and History, and holds a degree in Archaeology and Art History. He co-organized the conference Contemporary Greek Film Cultures 2013 and is a Guest Editor for the Filmicon: Journal of Greek Film Studies Special Issue on Contemporary Greek Film Cultures.
