Sandra Nikolic is an independent scholar. She received her PhD in Film and Media Studies from the University of Arts in Belgrade. She is the author of two books: Narration and Contemporary Film: Hollywood Model (Zaduzbina Andrejevic, Belgrade, 2012) and Deleuze, Memory and War Film (Zaduzbina Andrejevic, Belgrade, 2017). Recent papers: ‘Fragmented narrative structure of Alejandro González Iñárritu’s “Death Trilogy”’ (2014), ‘Media and Cultural Memory: The Case of Contemporary War Film’ (2017), ‘Holocaust and Trauma in Greek Cinema’ (2017). She has presented at several film conferences and is a member of the European Network for Cinema and Media Studies (NECS).
