Olga Kourelou is a Teaching Fellow in Film Studies at the University of Sussex. She has completed a PhD on Greek film stardom at King’s College, London. Her research interests are in stardom and performance, gender, popular culture, and national and transnational cinema studies with a particular focus on Europe. She has contributed articles on various aspects of these to publications including Cinemas, Identities and Beyond (Cambridge Scholars Press, 2009) and The Femme Fatale: Images, Histories, Contexts (Palgrave Macmillan, 2010).
