Angeliki Milonaki holds a Ph.D. in Film Studies from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she has taught courses on Greek film history and film theory in the Department of Film Studies (2007-2011). She is the author of two monographs on Greek film history (Work like crazy: A history of entrepreneurship in Greek popular cinema, 1950-1970 [Northern Greece Entrepreneurs Cultural Society, 2008] and From the courtyards to the living rooms: Representations of urban space in Greek popular cinema, 1950-1970 University Studio Press, 2012]) as well as a co-editor of the volume Cine Thessaloniki: Stories from the city and the cinema (University Studio Press, 2012).
